What is ULFIT?

ULFIT utilises Micro Focused Ultrasound (MFU) and Macro Focused Circular Ultrasound (MFCU) for skin laxity and body contouring treatments. The Ulfit technology delivers High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) at 65-75ºC into the targeted layers of the dermis, promoting the production of new collagen, and resulting in a naturally rejuvenated appearance. Thanks to high-power ultrasound waves, visible results can be seen from the first treatment.

What is the downtime?

Treatments take between 25 and 45 minutes, depending on which areas are being treated. Your patient’s skin may experience mild erythema after the treatment, but this will subside after a few hours.

Who is a good candidate?

HIFU is a great treatment for those suffering with loose skin that creates a ‘heavy’ looking face, but it may not be suitable for everyone. Consultation with our medical team is required to determine suitability. HIFU is a fantastic alternative for those not wishing to go down a cosmetic route, but it is also great for maintaining results post-surgery for those who have had other procedures.

When will I begin to see results?

This varies from patient to patient; results can be seen after a single treatment. Most visible results will be seen between 8-12 weeks post-treatment and will continue to improve up to 6 months after treatment.
